Viz Media is bringing back Naruto Shippuuden for the Viz Media streaming service starting March 12, 2019.
Bandai Namcoban Entertainment is also bringing back the anime adaptation of the popular manga series in a new way.
The anime series will be available on Viz Media’s new streaming service, VizTV.
VizTV is an entertainment portal that offers a variety of content, including anime, movies, live-action and live-event content, for the consumer in more than 40 countries and territories.
Unlike Bandai, Viz Media isn’t planning to sell the anime series directly to consumers.
Instead, the anime will be distributed via Viz Media channels such as Bandai and BandaiNamco Entertainment.
For now, Viz is only distributing the anime as a DVD, but the company plans to add additional digital formats to its streaming service in the future.
A version of the anime was also shown on the show’s Japanese Blu-ray Disc release.
BandaiNomad Entertainment is a subsidiary of the Japanese animation studio, Bandai.
